ESR Tubes are used for collection and transport of Venous blood for blood sedimentation rate testing. It is used for Westergren ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) Test.

Anticoagulant : 3.8% (0.129 mol/L) Tri-Sodium Citrate.
The mixing ratio is 1 part Citrate solution to 4 parts

Normal draw volume : 1.6, 2.4 ml
Vertical static pressure : 16 kg/cm2
Mixing mode : Gently invert the tube 3 - 5 times by 180°
immediately after blood collection
Operation temperature : 0°C - 37°C
Max. Vacuum deviation : ± 5 %
Applicable altitude tolerance : ± 200 m
   
Note :

These Tubes should not be used 24 hours after removal of the closure.
